Not a huge field for the Repco/Taylor's Parts Track Championship Round 5 on Saturday but with the finals charts heating up most racers were really keen to add too their points tally. All classes were represented with Fast Street and Street making up the majority of entrants.

It was great to see Daniel Kenyon back at the track competing in Quick Et with Toss Mohr who once again in his Chev powered LJ Torana made the fastest pass of the day clocking up 125.03 MPH, a little bit slower in the final but good enough to get the win in Quick ET and also get the Top Qualifier gong, well done Toss.

Consistency, great reaction times and maybe a bit of luck wins races and there is always someone that fills that category. Saturday saw Damo McHugh win the Fast Street Class and ticking all the boxes along the way. Consistently hitting 101 plus MPH on every pass and taking out the Top Qualifier category as well. Congratulations Damo.
